She is a resident of Virginia Beach, VA and has been teaching for ten years. A graduate of Norfolk State University and Virginia State University, she currently teaches science to students in grades 9-12 at Maury High School in Norfolk where Ms Andrea Tottossy is the principal. She affirms that all children should be given tools and opportunities to learn regardless of race, economic status, and family background. Mrs. Bridgers seeks to prepare her students so that they will be ready for certification exams that will make them marketable and competitive in our global workforce.
