She is a resident of Chesapeake, VA and a graduate of Norfolk State University and Hampton University. She has twenty-two years of experience and currently teaches sixth grade at Indian River Middle School where Ms. Naomi Epps is the principal. Mrs. Bennett regards teachers as “unsung heroes,” and she desires to be a hero where a hero is needed. In the course of her life, when given the opportunity, she wants to reach out to the lonely and defeated. As an educator, Mrs. Bennett wants to be a hero to everyone she meets.
